Where we Meet
Below are our regular weekly events, and sometimes a selection of other events, that might be of interest.
If you’re travelling by car to club events or races please car share where you can.
Unfortunately England Athletics’ guidelines prevent us from allowing under 18s to any of our events.
Monday Evenings
These are our regular track sessions, at the Prince of Wales Stadium. The Coach is Dave McGrath, and sessions are often led by Club Leaders in Running Fitness (LIRFs), Johnny Rea and Ivana Wilson.
They start at 7pm and the full address is Prince of Wales Stadium, Tommy Taylors Lane, Cheltenham, GL50 4NL.

Tuesday Evenings
These are Rep sessions, on The Honeybourne Line, and the coach is usually Michael Grant.
Meet 6.45pm at Waitrose carpark for a 6.50pm start – meet on ground level, about 50m left of main entrance. Waitrose, Honeybourne Way, Cheltenham,GL50 3QW
Note: these sessions alternate between the Honeybourne Line and Bayshill / Parabola Rd, but the meeting point is always at nearby Waitrose.

Wednesday Evenings
This is our main weekly social run and we will divide into several groups, spanning a wide range of paces, over a 5 mile road route and usually a 4 mile group too.
These currently start at 7pm from Cheltenham Town Football Club – the Completely-Suzuki Stadium, Whaddon Road, Cheltenham, GL52 5NA
This week (17 December) you can pre-order sausage and chips for after your run (further details are on Facebook)
Please wear hi viz and head torches.
There is usually a get-together after the run.
Thursday Mornings
These are based on individuals, or self-organised small groups, running to or otherwise just turning up at an agreed venue for coffee/tea.
On Thursday 15 January the venue is The Refectory at The Park Campus, University of Gloucester. Aim to arrive at 10.15 am.
Unfortunately we have to apply the rule about no under 18s to this event too.
Thursday afternoon track session (next session expected to be 5pm on 5th February)
Usually on the first Thursday of each month, in addition to the evening session described below, there is a speed endurance track session, and it is hoped the next one will be on 5 February. They take place at POW Stadium at 5pm, with a £3.25 charge which goes towards track hire. Please book and pay in advance using the link that will appear here by the Sunday before the next session.

These are speed endurance sessions on the Honeybourne Line, now meeting at the 2nd girder from POW, which is also the 3rd girder from Waitrose, at 6.45pm, and the coach is usually Michael Grant
