Club Welfare

Please note we are all responsible for our own and each other’s welfare but in essence and as required by England Athletics, Almost Athletes has two Welfare Officers:

Fi Barnes & Dave McGrath

They share the tasks of:-

• Ensuring your Welfare is key within your club membership
• Reporting and managing incidents
• Liaising with and supporting our Leaders and Coaches
• Managing/creating/updating our policy and procedures
• Organising and providing first aid training
• Taking and managing complaints or concerns
• Sharing Welfare concerns and subsequent ongoing needs with the Committee

You can expect to see Fi and Dave throughout the year in person when they will pop in to sessions to ensure you are happy with the club’s health and safety measures and so you know who they are.
