I am delighted to announce that we have enough interest to go ahead with the club trip to the Christmas Cracker 10k on Sunday 13 December.
The maximum coach capacity is 57 (and no, we can’t sit you in the aisle, on the roof or hide you in the toilet!) so when we’re full, we’re full.

Whilst we move from one heatwave to the next and those of us that can run plot the optimal time to avoid the heat, attention starts turning to events later in the year. The supermarkets have already planned their Christmas fayre, we’re days away from seeing the selection boxes in the aisles and the Almost Elves are busy working on our own month of fun.
So first up is the Christmas Cracker 10k race taking place on the 13th December at Weston-super-Mare. If you fancy galloping (or just watching) across golden sands with lashings of good old British seaside weather, then this could just be the race for you!
A brief itinerary is as follows:
7:45 leave Cheltenham, arriving WSM at 9:30
Race at 11:00, followed by free time for Lunch or buying a stick of rock
15:30 leave WSM, arriving Cheltenham at 17:00
The cost for the coach is £15 return and we need a minimum of 40 members in order to proceed with the booking. Please could you comment below if you are interested by the 14th August, so we can make a decision whether to go ahead or not.
(note that the race itself costs £18 and would need to be booked by you separately)
